Sugar Skull inspired by Day of the Dead sugar skulls.
 
The size of this suncatcher is approx 180mm (approx. 7.08 inches) diameter
 
This roundel has been created from scratch – I leaded the raw glass disc (which was cut to specification by my local glazier), outlined the design on the glass before painting it. The roundel was then fired in an oven according to the paint manufacturer's instructions making the item colourfast.
 
There is a wire loop at the top so the suncatcher can be displayed against a window or mirror or even from a light fitting.
